Honda confirms engines for Roberts.
MotoGP giant Honda has confirmed that it will be supplying UK-based Team Roberts with engines to enable it to compete in this year's MotoGP World Championship.
Honda revealed that it will supply the team with the highly successful 900cc five-cylinder RCV 211V engines, which will be slotted into a Roberts frame for the 17 rounds of the championship.
Former 500cc world champion Kenny Roberts, son of three-time champion team owner Kenny Sr, will lead the Banbury-based team having left Suzuki at the end of the 2005 season. Roberts, who won the 2000 world title for Suzuki, will start testing the new machine at Sepang in Malaysia on Monday.
