MOLENAAR RACING TO ENTER 2006 CHAMPIONSHIP WITH YOUNGEST EVER DUTCH TALENT AND FORMER WORLD CHAMPION
JOEY LITJENS (15) AND ARNAUD VINCENT (FR) LEAD BY HANS SPAAN

Dorna and IRTA, organizers of the world championship roadrace Grand Prix, gave the Arie Molenaar GP-team and 15-year old Dutch talent Joey Litjens a great Christmas gift, just before the holidays. On the 8th of february, the young guy from the Limburgian America, turns 16 years old. He is approved by the strict GP-selection commitee to be able to ride the full series of 125cc GP's. Joey Litjens started his career when he was 10 years old, competing in pocketbikes and he became champion immediately. In 2002 he won the Dutch Aprilia Cup and in 2005 he scored a great 4th in the overal standings of the European Championschip. Joey will go up in history as the youngest ever Dutch to complete a full GP-season. He will be in charge of two times vice-worldchampion 125cc Hans Spaan. Next to the young talent, Arie Molenaar invited a great dose of experience with Frenchman Arnaud Vincent. Vincent won the worldtitle in the 125cc in 2002, by winning five GP races.

Blablabla yadayadayekyek about Joey Litjens....

At the request of the Japanese Honda factory, Arie Molenaar Racing will remain in both 125 and 250cc. "There's no Dutch 250cc rider who can pass the GP selection. So we focussed on some offers we got from abroad. We got a great experienced rider with the 31-years old Arnaud Vincent, who won the European Championship in 1997 and became world champion in 2002. Arnaud switched to 250cc in 2004 and played a striking role in with the Fantic prototype last year."

"I'm pretty confident I can revanche on a Honda of the experienced Dutch team. I hope to be able to get the title of 'best privateer' with the A-kit from Japan. I've seen how quick the machine of Jakub Smrz was last year and how wonderfully the bike steers with the Bakker-frame. That supported me in my choice", the former French Champion said. He will start his 9th season in GP's.

Joey Litjens was named after legend Joey Dunlop and is very busy at school, yek yek yek....
